Earnie Newsome Sr.

  Earnie Newsome Sr., age 61, of Beaver, Ohio, died Thursday August 31, 2017 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born September 11, 1955 in Floyd County, Kentucky, a son of the late Estel and Helen Ruth Adams Gilliam. Surviving are his children, Eugene (Janie) Spears of Paintsville, Kentucky, Kimberly (James) Dollarhide of Piketon, Ohio, Earnie (Jennifer) Newsome Jr. of Waverly, Ohio, Jonie (Danny) Young of Beaver, Ohio, Brandon Saylor of Lucasville, Ohio, Bradley Newsome of Lucasville, Ohio and Brandie Newsome of Lucasville, Ohio, fifteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one sister, Loreva Williams of Marion, Ohio and former wife, Ann Gussler of Paintsville, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Zachariah Spears, one great-grandchild, Isaiah Adkins and one brother Eddie Borders. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
