Doris Ann James

Doris Ann James, age 69, of Beaver, Ohio, died Thursday February 21, 2013 at the Pleasant Hill Manor in Piketon, Ohio. She was born June 13, 1943 in Johnson County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Dorsey Roy Reisinger and Zelma Castle Rapp. Mrs. James was united in marriage January 27, 1978 to her husband, Gene Raymond James, who preceded her in death November 6, 2008. Surviving are two sisters, Diane Stepp of Beaver, Ohio and Phyllis (Albert) Shreck of Waverly, Ohio, two brothers, Donald Ray (Kathy) Reisinger of Florida and David Wayne (Mary) Reisinger of Naples, Florida, eight nieces, four nephews, four great-nieces, ten great-nephews, three great-great nieces and one great-great nephew. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Castle. Mrs. James was a member of the VFW Post #9942 of Beaver, Ohio and a member of the FOE Post #1546 of Jackson, Ohio. She was loved by all who knew her. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed.
