Donna Jean (Mumaw) Howard

Donna Jean Howard, 74, of Waverly, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. She was born on September 6, 1951, to the late Norma Jean and Buck Mumaw.

Donna was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who cherished the time she spent with her family. She leaves behind many loved ones who will carry her memory forward.

She is survived by Ed Howard; her children, Tracy (John) Brungs, Daniel Brungs, Frank (Brandie) White, and Billy Howard; and her siblings, Teresa Posey and Roy Mumaw.

She was a proud grandmother to Raul Mendoza, Natasha Crabtree, Michael Mendoza, Jessica Crabtree, Luke Mendoza, Maria Mendoza, Angel Francis, Brian Neiberline, Kayla Chaney, Hunter Brungs, Charleigh White, Dalton White, Anna Howard, and Billy Howard. She also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Buck Mumaw; her brother, Roy Mumaw; her sister, Brenda Ferrel; and her daughter, Danielle Francis.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Graveside services will follow at Mound Cemetery in Piketon, Ohio.

Donna will be remembered for her love of family and the lasting impact she had on those who knew her.
