Delores L. "sonny" Boyd

  Delores L. "Sonny" Boyd, age 76, of Beaver, Ohio, died Wednesday January 31, 2018 at the Pleasant Hill Nursing Facility in Piketon, Ohio. She was born July 12, 1941 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Bearl Stanley Walters and Marjorie Wallace. Mrs. Boyd was united in marriage on July 24, 1964 to her husband, Joe L. Boyd, who preceded her in death March 28, 2017. Surviving are her children, Joe (Tammy) Boyd Jr., Stephanie Boyd, and Zachary Boyd, three grandchildren, Renea, Ryan, and ShaeLee, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, and three sisters. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Steven Boyd, one brother, and one sister. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday February 3, 2018 in the Beaver Union Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Greene officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-5:00 P.M. for family and from 5-6:00 P.M. for the public on Friday February 2, 2018 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
