Deborah Sue Cox

Deborah Sue Cox, age 60, of Leesburg, Ohio, died Friday July 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born February 12, 1962 in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert P. Brigner and Dorothy Mae Mershon Brigner. She was united in marriage August 13, 2004 to her husband, Kevin Lee Cox, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Preston Lee (Reese) Wilkinson of Hillsboro, Ohio, one grandson, Waylon Lee Wilkinson, three sisters, Cindy Brigner Castle of Lucasville, Ohio, Tina Brigner Ison of Piketon, Ohio, and Missy Brigner of Piketon, Ohio, adopted daughter, Samantha Jenkins of Minford, Ohio, unofficial adopted son, Shawn Hartman of Portland, Oregon, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Garry Robert Alexander Liles and an unofficial adopted son, Josh Cunningham.

Deborah was a fierce mother and grandmother, and a very loyal sister.

Visiting hours will be held from 5-7:00 P.M. Wednesday July 27, 2022 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
