David Shane Jenkins, age 44, of Lucasville, Ohio, died Tuesday November 14, 2023 at his residence. He was born February 6, 1979 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Patricia Ison Jenkins of Lucasville, Ohio and the late Dwight David Jenkins. Including his mother, he is survived by one brother, Paul (Amy Brownfield) Jenkins of Piketon, Ohio, one sister, Barbara (Glen) Jenkins Williams of Salyersville, Kentucky, two nieces, and two nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fred and Lena Jenkins and maternal grandparents, Warner and Arlene Ison.

Shane was a former member of the Bricklayers Local 39 of Portsmouth, Ohio, enjoyed being outdoors hunting and especially fishing, and loved spending his time and having fun with his family and friends.

Calling hours will not be observed. Cox Burkitt Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
