Daniel Lee "Boomer" Bobst age 57 of Beaver, Ohio died Tuesday, September 01, 2015 in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born February 24, 1958 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the cherished son of the late Ezra Damon "Bub" Bobst Jr. and Irene Moore Bobst Hay. Daniel was preceded in death by his beloved son Ezra Daniel Bobst of Beaver, Ohio and brother in law Darrell Rumfield of Beaver, Ohio. Surviving are his daughter Joni (Bobst) Thilavong, and husband Viradeth Thilavong, granddaughters Alexandria and Aleeah of Gahanna, Ohio, granddaughter Kristen M. Bobst of Waverly, Ohio, Miley P. Bobst, and grandson Zain M. Bobst of Charleston, West Virginia, sisters Linda (Bobst) Rumfield, Beth (Bobst) Fox and husband Joe of Beaver, Ohio, brother Ezra "Butch" Damon Bobst III and wife Janet of Beaver, Ohio, nieces Lora Traylor and husband Jason of Beaver, Ohio, Gwen Neace and husband Rick of Beaver, Ohio, Ashley Hammond and husband Lloyd of Beaver, Ohio, nephews Tim Rumfield and wife Anita of Commercial Point, Ohio, Brett Bobst and wife Nashanda of Beaver, Ohio, Brandon Fox and Edana Sutherland of Chillicothe, Ohio, Cassidy Fox of Beaver, Ohio, and six great nephews, three great nieces, many cousins, Aunts and Uncles. Daniel was a 1976 graduate of Eastern High School. He began working in his family's business Bobst's hardware store, wrecker service, and used car lot, when he was just a young boy. He so loved the business that he continued working there as a self-employed business man throughout his adulthood. A celebration of Daniel's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on September 19, 2015 at Beaver Emmanuel United Methodist Parrish Hall in Beaver, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cox Burkitt Funeral Home.
