Chloe Ellen Knisley

Chloe Ellen Knisley, 91, of Peebles, Ohio, died September 1, 2014. She was born March 17, 1923 in Pike County, Ohio, the daughter of John and Anna Jackson. In 1942 she married Gail Knisley, who preceded her in death in 1987. Chloe is survived by seven children, Colen (Lisa) Jackson of Peebles, Ohio, Carolyn (Roy) Penwell of Latham, Ohio, Juda Leeth of Peebles, Ohio, Geraldine (Gene) Penwell of Peebles, Ohio, Gail (Donald) Carter of Peebles, Ohio, Paul (Jenny) Knisley of Peebles, Ohio and Kenneth Knisley of Peebles, Ohio, 26 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Katherine Knisley, two brothers and four sisters. She will be missed by a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday September 4, 2014 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Bob King officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
