Cheryl Mae Spencer

Cheryl Mae Spencer, 61, of Chillicothe, passed away July 26, 2024 at the OSU Medical Center. Cheryl was born April 10, 1963 to the late Bill and Patsy Spencer. Surviving are her sons Jeremy (April) Freeland of Waverly and Jamie Freeland of Chillicothe, five grandchildren, Kylie, Skyla, Devon, Lexi, and Riley, her fiancé, Dave Jenkins, one brother, Billy (Tammy) Spencer of Piketon and one sister, Pam (Bob) Smith of McDermott, nieces and nephews, Jason, Joni, Amanda, Jodi, Jessica, Taylor, Haley, Chase, Kayleigh, Karleigh, Maelyn, and Madalyn, and a very special friend of over 20 years, Nancy Lamascus-Smith. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Spencer and one granddaughter who she adored, Destiny Freeland.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday July 31, 2024 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Charles DeWitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Waverly Evergreen Union Cemetery located on Denver Rd. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
