Charles William Henry Sr.

Charles William Henry Sr., age 63, of Wakefield, Ohio, died Wednesday August 5, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 2, 1952 in Delaware, Ohio, a son of late Earl William and Mary Louise Vernette Henry. Mr. Henry was united in marriage November 1, 1982 to his wife, Willa C. Akers Henry, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Cynthia Ann (Bill) Coleman Grubaugh of Lucasville, Ohio, Charles William (Kim) Henry Jr. of Missouri, Charlotte Henry (Brian Bollack) of Marion, Ohio and his adopted son, Brian (Alecia) Hamilton of Hillsboro, Ohio, grandchildren, Bethanna Cantrell, Lane Cantrell, Stephanie Porter, Savanna Cantrell, Benjamin McWherter, Michael Henry, Sydnee Stepp, Becca Hopper, Jozlynn Hopper, Delanny Hopper, Brayden Hopper, Lucas Bollack, Zachariah Bollack, Keith Barger, Jacob Bollack, and Jonathan Bollack, four step-great-grandsons, two step-great-granddaughters, one brother, Terry Lee Henry of Westerville, Ohio, one sister/cousin, Jackie Cole-Payne of Texas and his father-in-law, William Akers of Wakefield, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant sons, Robbie Lee Henry and Jamie Lee Henry and two brothers, Michael A. Henry and Earl Wayne Henry. Mr. Henry was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Friends may call from 3-7:00 P.M. Sunday August 9, 2015 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
