Charles Brown Obituary
Charles Richard Brown, age 81, of Givens, Ohio, passed away Tuesday February 26, 2019 at the Edgewood Manor in Wellston, Ohio following an extended illness. Charles was born April 18, 1937 to Harry and Ruby Brown of Givens, Ohio. Charles is survived by two sisters, Marilyn S. Remy (John Huff) of Beaver, Ohio and Lorena M. West of Chillicothe, Ohio, a brother, Roger B. Brown of Waverly, Ohio, a special niece, Robyn K. Hambrick (Jeff) of Beaver, Ohio and a great-nephew, Clayton A. Hambrick. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul E. Brown. Charles served in the United States Army. He retired from Goodyear/Lockheed Martin, enjoyed horse racing, the county fairs and gardening. He attended New Covenant Church in Waverly, Ohio before his illness. Charles was always willing to lend a helping hand. Graveside services will be 3:30 P.M. Friday March 1, 2019 at the Beaver Union Cemetery will military honors conducted by the American Legion Merritt Post #142 of Waverly, Ohio. Burial will follow at the conclusion of services.
