Carol Virgin Obituary

Carol Linda Virgin, age 77, of Beaver, Ohio, died Monday January 16, 2017 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born August 16, 1939 in Coles County, Illinois, a daughter of the late Alvin E. and Mamie Jackson Rhoton. Surviving are her children, David (Fiance` Roxanna) Rhoton Sr. of Oak Hill, Ohio, Danny (Sheila) Virgin of Beaver, Ohio, Diane (Johnnie) Madden of Piketon, Ohio and John (Denise) Virgin of Richwood, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one brother, Jerry (Carol) Rhoton of Wisconsin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell, Emile, Donnie and Jessie Rhoton, her sister Marge, her former husband, Dean Virgin and a very special uncle, Eli Rhoton. Carol was a member of the Monroe Chapel Church in Oak Hill, Ohio. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday January 20, 2017 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Dan King officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8:00 P.M. Thursday January 19, 2017 at the funeral home.
