Carol Sue Teeters, age 75, of Beaver, Ohio, died Friday July 19, 2013 at the Pleasant Hill Manor in Piketon, Ohio. She was born May 26, 1938 in Newark, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harold and Mary Donley Homman. She is survived by three daughters, Lori (Elvin) Tate of Charleston, West Virginia, Carol (Ben) Tolliver of Grove City, Ohio and Michele (Vince) Vanaman of Rutland, Ohio, two sons, Brad (Michelle) Teeters of Waverly, Ohio and David Teeters of Beaver, Ohio, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one sister, Patricia Brown of Blacklick, Ohio. Mrs. Teeters was a member of the Beaver Emmanuel United Methodist Church. While raising her family, she earned an Associate Degree in Office Administration from the Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio and was employed as a sales associate at Sun TV in Chillicothe, Ohio for five years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who passed down her love of sewing and baking to her children and grandchildren. She also loved to sing and found great enjoyment in singing to the residents at the Pleasant Hill Manor. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday July 24, 2013 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Rev. Ronnie Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
