Andrew H. Copley

Andrew H. Copley, age 87, of Oak Hill, Ohio, formerly of the Bethel Ridge area as well as Greenup, Kentucky, passed away at 7:20 A.M. Saturday January 12, 2013 at the Heartland Nursing Home in Jackson, Ohio. Andrew was born in Ceredo, West Virginia on October 14, 1925 to the late Wayne and Emelois Ball Copley. He is survived by two sisters, Ruth (Wayne) Yates of Oak Hill, Ohio and Janice Virginia (Wilson) Detty of Jackson, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Sylvester Copley of Creston, Ohio and Robert Copley of Jackson, Ohio, and one sister, Irlene Ruby Tufts of Sarasota, Florida. Mr. Copley was a U.S. Army Veteran, stationed in the Philippines during WWII and had worked as a carpenter all of his adult life. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 15, 2013 at the Bethel Ridge Cemetery (Liberty Township) with Pastor Charles "Skip" Domigan officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
