Amber P. Miller

  Amber P. Miller, age 68, of Beaver, Ohio, died Friday August 3, 2018 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born August 29, 1949 in Minford, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles "Bunk" and Mary Lore Bender. She was united in marriage June 8, 1968 to her husband, Leroy A. Miller, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Tim (Rena) Miller, Tammy (Glen) Clouser and Susan (Chris) Escamilla, ten grandchildren, Danielle Dyer, Ashley Bailey, Ryan Miller, Gabriel Miller, William Clouser, Josiah Clouser, Victoria Escamilla, Alexandria Escamilla, Christopher Escamilla and Liam Escamilla, three great-grandchildren, Lastat Dyer, Zaiden Dyer, and Ava Bailey, and five brothers and sisters, John (Tammy) Bender of Portsmouth, Ohio, Patricia Cassidy of Waverly, Ohio, Donald (Cheryl) Bender of Minford, Ohio, Mike (Brenda) Bender of Otway, Ohio, and Richard ( Pam) Bender of Chillicothe, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Minnie Lore and John and Nettie Bender, a great-grandson, Gabriel Dyer, and a sister, Brenda Bender. Amber graduated from Minford High School, was a loving wife having been married for 50 years, and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday August 6, 2018 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Jack Lore officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8:00 P.M. Sunday August 5, 2018 and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
