Alvin "George" Schrader Jr.

Alvin “George” Schrader Jr., age 90, of Beaver, Ohio, died Sunday November 8, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 19, 1929 in Beaver, Ohio, a son of the late Alvin Schrader Sr. and Eliza Chandler Schrader. He was united in marriage in December 24, 1949 to his wife of 71 years, Geneva L Maynard Schrader, who preceded him in death October 19, 2020. Surviving are one son, Dana (Susie) Schrader of Beaver, Ohio, two grandchildren, Jason (Lindsay) Schrader of Waverly, Ohio and Christina (Josh) Adams of Beaver, Ohio, seven great-grandchildren, Jake Schrader, Abby Schrader, Chase Adams, Haley Adams, Layne Adams, Tucker Schrader, and Tyler Schrader, and one brother, Lewis (Nancy) Schrader of Beaver, Ohio. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Schrader, six brothers, James “Cavis” Schrader, Melvin “Beanie” Schrader, Paul Schrader, Danny Schrader, Wayne Schrader, and Homer Schrader (infant), and three sisters, Mary Bobst, Carolyn Sue Schrader, and Roberta Ryder.

George loved and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending spare time working on motors.

Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday November 14, 2020 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Graveside services will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery with Bro. Arvil Murray officiating.
